Workshop Structure

A select group of leading international speakers in the field of entrepreneurism will join Omani experts in addressing the various dimensions of the issues at hand. Participants will be active in break-out sessions, formulating recommendations to promote successful entrepreneurism.

In parallel with the Workshop, a start-up business activity called Mountains24 will be running. Mountains24 is a competition among teams of students from diverse academic institutions. The students have 24 hours in which to develop a viable business opportunity. Just before dinner on Day 2 of the Workshop, the teams will present their plans to the Workshop participants and a “Dragons’ Den” panel of judges.

Day 3 of the Workshop will encompass papers on teaching entrepreneurism and related activities led by the Rustaq College of Applied Sciences and Beijing’s Central University of Finance & Economics.
