             Customer Service Centre : "A short way to Instant services"

  • As part of the Ministry’s dedicated efforts to further develop and improve its services, a Customer Service Centre is established on the ground floor of the Ministry’s new premises at Airport Heights. The Centre serves as a link between the Ministry and the public; in particular it serves students and their parents, along with other customers, in order to facilitate communication between the ministry and the customers, and provide optimal services that reflect advanced development and good organization.
  • The Customer Service Centre consist of fourteen service counters and a waiting area that can accommodate more than seventy people. In addition, there are two separate rooms in case customers wish to discuss their issues in private.
  • The department seeks to facilitate the public requests, services and applications related to the Ministry of Higher Education :
    • Services related to Ministry’s office and Undersecretary’s office
    • External scholarship department services
    • Internal scholarship department services
    • Post graduate department services
    • Higher Education Admission Center services
    • D.G of Colleges of Applied Sciences services
    • Equivalency and Recognition department services
    • D.G of Administrative and financial affairs services (tickets)
    • D.G of Universities and private colleges services
  • The important facilities provided for the public include:

    • Computerized ticket queue system designed for managing customer queues at the service counters. Customers are issued queue tickets for the service required and they typically wait in the waiting area in comfort.
    • There are 9 electronic display screens for the public to view the service desk ticket numbers. When it is their turn to be served, their queue numbers will be displayed on these 9 display screens.
    • Televised waiting rooms are available for women and men
